I’m pretty spice-intolerant, so I’d likely not be ordering them, but somehow this is the first I’ve become aware of chilies on the In-n-Out secret menu. Besides on and in the burger, are there any other popular ways to order them? I’d think in animal style fries would be one.
Yep on the burger and fries are both great in any iteration. Their new ones are terrible. If you are a serious chili-head, you can put them in your sodas and shakes too.

Last year this was called the Cajun Flounder Sandwich.
I guess Popeyes felt that a lot of people had no idea a flounder was a fish.

Raising Canes popularity is baffling. They do chicken fingers. They are not better (or worse) than.any other fast food fried chicken.
Do not get the appeal.

The general ‘net consensus is that the two main ingredients are ketchup and mayo, but there’s also worcestershire sauce, lemon, garlic powder, and salt & pepper. Just sayin’.

i too was once a raising canes skeptic, until i finally tried it and became a canes evangelist…
their chicken is consistently juicy, a product of their frying to order - what other chain is competitive in this aspect? but you do have to eat it within ~5 minutes to realize this value! the sauce is a bonus, along with the toast and the fries (which i might even venture a hot take are better on average than mcdonalds because they are on average closer to being just out of the fryer).
For me, Raising Canes manages to pass the rest stop test:
If you’re starving, pull over to an isolated hiway exit that has nothing but a gas station and fast food restaurant X, do you go for the fast food or make due with gas station snacks?
Raising cane’s passes this easily (Subway and Togo’s do not). But given a McD’s, a Taco Bell, and a Raising Canes all.next to.one another, Canes comes in 3rd every time.
I could.see them.beatimg out BK or JitB depending on ones mood.
