Favorite pho in the east bay?

Given the recent weather, we’ve found ourselves going back to the pho well more often.

Is there anything similar to the northern-stype pho ga from a Joy Hing or Turtle Tower in Oakland?

We’ve been ordering from Pho Vy most frequently, but also wondering if there’s anything reliable in the Rockridge/Temescal area. Have yet to try Holy Basil or Monster Pho, which are the two closest to us.

Have you tried Ao Sen?

I haven’t - will give it a shot and report back. Particularly excited to see that it’s open as early as 9am - pho can/should be a breakfast food!
