Food crawling

Gardena food crawl with chow pup

Curryfornia- deep rich curry with just a hint of sweetness and a small kick. I actually ordered it was tonkatsu but he don’t hear me over the phone. The pickles, egg, and potato salad helped smooth out the edges, cut the richness, and give it some textural contrast. Will definitely be going back. Best curry in South Bay.

Kotohira- an old standby, kiddo wanted noodles so I had to oblige. Shoyu dry udon. Great kicks of umami with chewy noodles. Wanted to actually go to Otafuku for soba but they were closed.

Southbay jinmi- I think this might be the best soondae in all of LA including ktown. They’re soodaes are immaculate never a ripped outside casing. Silky smooth with that slight blood funk. Steamed perfectly some bite but still really tender and not over cooked. Kiddo said “this is delicious, so yummy!” So it’s picky kid approved.

Kansha creamery- I always get foiled by their limited operating hours. We had strawberry milk, malted cookies and cream, and a pint of peach. Peach was the standout. Strawberry milk was the first flavor I’ve gotten there that I didn’t like. It did not taste like strawberries and milk and the kid refused to eat it lol.
