I try a lot of frozen dumplings. Share your faves.
These Kim Phat potstickers are available at Sobey’s grocery store in Canada. Quite good. Less filling than some brands but the filling tastes better than most.
I usually eat my dumplings boiled or steamed at home, and need to work on my potsticker frying skills.
The ones I get from San Gabriel valley restaurants
Which ones? We like Mama Lius and the brand they sell at Capital Noodle.
Beijing/jin hai pie house. They are made pretty regularly the owner told me they usually make them once a week ish
We recently tried MiLa from Costco and thought they were pretty good for xlb. Otherwise we get them frozen from local restaurants like the others have mentioned above. Wonder if it’s only a matter of time before DTF starts selling frozen xlb.
I like MiLa, as well. They actually carry them at the Ralphs Fresh Fare near me (!).
I’ve heard the TJ ones are pretty good (I have not tried them myself yet).
I enjoy them too, but I learned the hard way not to do an online order otherwise you get a whole bag of dumplings all stuck together
I’ll have to check these out I’ve never had good mass packaged western brands. I’ve had good ones from 99 ranch that have Chinese lettered packaging
I think the founders are Chinese American? And spokesperson Simu Liu would never lead us astray! ![]()
Cindy’s Kitchen in Rowland/Hacienda Heights.
I need to try Ly Family Kitchen, but all the signage is in Mandarin.
