Thanks so much for the heads up! I didn’t notice when I picked up my other favorite nut butter which is also on sale at Whole Foods this week! Ground Up Honey and Cardamom!
I love Big Spoon Chai Spice Peanut and Almond Butter, but it’s hard to get and very pricy. This one regular price is cheaper (although Target does sell some of the varieties of this brand, but they are in smaller jars and more expensive!) and I love the additional ingredients in this.
No added fats, not even coconut oil although it does contain shredded coconut. It has a great texture. UBER spreadable but with body.
The honey is muted, but the cardamom comes through in the best way. So it’s not super sweet. In fact, Big Spoon has added sugar. This does not. It also has just the slightest pop of sea salt. Too much and it would not play well with the other toasty flavors. So it totally complements the the Sourdough Wheat Bread we bake
And to make a sandwich that will really compliment the cardamom, I love Trader Joe’s Tart Cherry Spread. It’s like a true pate of fruit. The cherries go so well with the Cardamom.
It’s finally chilly… so toasty sandwiches are the best dessert! Some nights Teddie Extra Crunchy with Marmalade (Because it’s also Old Fashioneds season)…. Other nights this!

@robert A Trader Joe’s here in LA had salted crunchy peanut butter today, so maybe worth checking if your local Trader Joe’s brought it back.
