Went for a run today and planned to end at this spot for a meal and was very glad I did. I showed up right around Noon and there was maybe 5 people waiting for food, but 15 minutes later another 30 people showed up looking to eat.
From what I could tell this little spot is run by a husband (Caucasian) and wife (Korean) team who make very good BBQ with a bit of a Korean twist. They do meats by the pound along with sandwiches, sides, and desserts. Hard to tell, but I think there is specials every day they are open or maybe just on the weekends.
Today I was lucky enough to get a Kalbi Beef Rib with an assortment of banchan. The rib was cooked very well with a good bit of smoke, a nice bark, delicious flavor, but not falling completely apart. The banchan was a nice counterpoint adding funk and acidity to otherwise fatty/meaty meal. The pickeld green tomato was probably my favorite of the banchan.
I would gladly return to this spot if I was ever in the area.
