Very good. Best restaurant I ate at in 2023 (putting aside wine list, which is tiny and subpar). 7.0/10.

We both like this restaurant. It’s quaint and special. All the dishes taste right, without a hint of overreach. A little on the dainty side, for better or worse. I was hungry an hour into the meal.
Had dinner at Heritage last night - fantastic restaurant. Very very high level of cooking, great service, and overall a special place. Wine list is not great but it did not matter since we brought our own. Looking forward to coming back for spring menu.

I’ve never been to Heritage but, in a few weeks, Heritage is doing a collab with Snail Bar, a restaurant in Oakland. I spent some time in Oakland at the end of 2023 and I thought my meals at Snail Bar were among the best I had all year.

Overnight stop in Laguna Beach on a quick trip to San Diego. Time for a nice little tasting menu at Heritage https://heritagerestaurantlb.com Really nice dishes which focus on the flavors of the main ingredients but add well thought out components to elevate the overall dishes and well deserved Michelin star.
