Jones (West Hollywood)

Surprisingly few good options for a midnight dinner with cocktails in LA after a concert (I miss the late night menu at Red Medicines or The Pikey), Jones in West Hollywood is one of them - good classical American-Italian cuisine with strong cocktails. Very crowded at midnight in a Sunday with a short wait to be seated, so there seems to be a market for late night options.

Prosciutto di Parma and Season Fruits (Pear)

The Cure - El jimador blanco, alchemist ginger, lemon juice, honey syrup, union mezcal float

Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe - house-made turkey sausage, spicy marinara, parmigiano

The Hendrix - Herradura silver tequila, cointreau, lime juice, pear juice, basil

Tiramisu

it’s a great spot for a martini, comes with a dividend. crowded but never impossible to get in through the door. the couch is at a slightly awkward height. definitely eat at the tables not the bar. good go-to spot for a martini or two especially if you want a pre/post-dinner drink coming from the nearby galleries or Mozzaplex, or post concert like you said

You’re so right about the lack of late night options. Almost makes me miss Kate Mantilini and the Rock N Roll Hamburger Hamlet. Of course these days we’re more likely to have happy hour / early dinner before a concert and then go straight home to bed afterwards.
