Add Frame on Harbor to the list. Really good cold brew. I would place them between Reborn and Bodhi even with Coffee Code. Better than Dripp for sure.
Hanchic tonight. Still no alcohol license but you can get bottles from the karaoke place next door. Bulgogi risotto was absolutely awesome, everything else was ok to good. But honestly, next time I’d just get multiple orders of that risotto.
A couple of other taco spots to check out in the area if you’re still there:
Fish tacos
Corona
Fenix
Mi ranchito fenix
Carnitas
Carnitas los tigrillos
Asada
Tacos el yaqui
Birria
Birrieria el cunado
Tortas
Tortas michoacana
Loncheria la mision
Thanks, we are back, but we will return so thanks so much!
I need to go back soon! So many good places to eat down there.
Any places on valle de Guadalupe you would recommend? Fauna and Deckmans are booked up.
The only other “fine dining” place I’ve been aside from fauna and deckmans is finca altazano.
I enjoy that place as much as deckmans same style, proteins cooked in a woodfire. Great patio open air dining.
Or you can always stop by Dona estela during the day.
One of my siblings is going to relieve me of caregiving so I’ll have time to hit up some places I was thinking…
Holy Basil
Angry Egret
All Day Baby
and maybe a bang bang with PRD would be perfect
What dishes would you get above?
Or maybe one of each banchan at Shiku?
Animalon if it’s still happening… That’s Javier Plascencia’s place in the Valle.
Also Conchas de Piedra for lunch. And La Cocina de Dona Esthela for breakfast if it’s not packed.
How is animalon? Wanted to try it but I thought they closed a while back?
I thought that too, but on their website it seems they’re open, and OpenTable has reservations.
Wow will have to put that on the list for next time then
Now serving dinner which is not exactly Here’s Looking at You, but working towards it.
Only been once or twice but loved the gra pow eggplant.
