they swapped out dakgaejang for the eundaegu joorim, which I think was a smart move since that’s a bigger ticket item and travels a little better than soup. But it does kind of take out the third ‘chicken’ dish that would’ve justified the Jun Won Dak moniker.

The LA Times article said Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but until the official opening on the 14th don’t expect that they’ll be open full-time.

은대구조림 (Eun-Daegu) is as good as I remember. The fresh cod texture is so perfectly cooked, in that comforting sweet and (barely) spicy sauce, happily married to all the rice and banchan.
삼계탕 (Samgye-Tang) is tender love. It hit just right. Possibly the best item on their menu if the Cod doesn’t exist. They’re definitely better together. I have never had these two items in the same meal before since they’re not commonly pair together… What a happy day!
Pine Nuts and jujube and garlic and chicken and rice… All the things I love hugging each other in such a lovely broth. I admit, I ate them all in one sitting 
Tell your diet to be careful Their food are too tasty, it’s hard to stop.
