Trying to decide between Leeward and Solo Italiano, while in Portland this coming January.
Been looking at reviews and both have great reviews but there are a few reviews that give me pause, particularly for Solo Italiano (SI). Folks complain that the portions at SI are small and overpriced. There are also a number of comments about bad service at SI. Leeward also has some negative reviews about price and portion size, but I cannot recall much about bad service or they did not stick out to me.
Typically I am less concerned about service than food, but if both restaurants are comparable in food quality, taste, and innovativeness then should I just go with Leeward which, I believe, has fewer negative comments about service?
All thoughts are welcome.
