This is like when a flight gets delayed a gazillion times and you know in reality its canceled.

Weird, it’s still saying “temporarily” on my phone.

Anyone have any insight? Or was the rent just too insanely high?

Just ate at Angler SF - delicious.

The only miss were the underdone prawns - they were small (even though they look kind of large in the image below) and very difficult to excise enough meat out of the shell to get a decent bite.

Frog legs were so delicious.

How deeply I crave that radicchio would have me in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Circles of Hell simultaneously

Not to mention the potato and beets (RIP)

Did the banana pancakes make an appearance?

Banana pancakes have been replaced.

I’ve had this happen on Yelp. My phone will say one thing and someone else’s says different.

Nope

Not sure if I’m about to get lightly slapped for saying this out loud, but figured you guys would want the heads up. Happies is turning into Lynx. New concept. Pizza and cocktails. They’re at the tail end of R and D right now, with friends and family happening this week, and a proper launch slated for the new year.

I’m genuinely hoping something sticks here. For me, the 2013 to 2016 Saison years were magic. It was my favorite restaurant in the country. I went almost every month for years, which in hindsight says more about me than my bank account would like to admit. Josh is a generational talent. I want him in this city, opening things that work, that last, and that let him keep cooking at a high level without burning the place down in the process.

Hopefully Lynx is a stepping stone toward that. Pizza, cocktails, a little looseness, a little fun, and a foundation solid enough to support bigger swings down the line. I’m rooting for it

Oh hell yeah. Banging pizza and proper cocktails sounds like a winner to me. I’m sure it’ll end up having some $50 cocktail on the menu, but hopefully the rest of the menu is a bit more manageable for the checkbook.

Thanks for the intel. But cautious optimism from me, as I thought pizza & cocktails was what Leopardo was supposed to be…

the size of the dining room got in the way of that, Leopardo couldn’t just be pizza and cocktails

Thanks I enjoyed leopardos cocktails and pizzas so I would love that to turn into a winning concept!
