What was the pricing like on the supplements?

spaghetti 52

That photo is of an $84 cheese plate?

Yes, agree food was good, interesting and well executed technically. For a first night I think they did a good job service wise too. Nitpicks were minor.

  • Butter knife shortage.. 1 per couple.
  • That’s an expensive cheese plate.

Concept wise it’s still a little confusing for me.

  • Not a pro-banger destination. You definitely need to factor in a pre/post bang-bang even after maxing out on the supplements.
  • Date night: Food wise likely an adequate portion size. Although noise level would make it a challenging destination for conversations.
  • Repeat visit - menu is too abrupt to return anytime soon.

For reference, this is a recent picture from Google of the 45 euro cheese plate at 3* L’Ambroisie in Paris where individual a la carte dishes start at 145 euro.

Adequate with or without supplements? I’m getting the impression that the $150 a person is a ā€œteaserā€ rate if even a person with an average appetite couldn’t be full at that price for food.

I’d say adequate without the supplements if you are a lighter eater.

Sorry to hear this. I vaguely remember that Sotto had the same issue.

If you have sensitive ears like me, pass on Lielle (for now). My ears are still ringing from last night. I think I’ve texted @PorkyBelly 3 times today about my tinnitus. I hate to be so serious about this but its a real issue. Imagine being there for 3+ hours with constant 85-90+ db.

The food is solid and I agree with the top two items being the spaghetti and the abalone.

Perfect for the GLP1 couples.

Was the sound issue strictly from people talking or is the music too loud? The latter seems like an easy fix.

Have a big appetite. But we were happy with regular menu and one pasta split between the two of us. No additional supplements. Not a GLP-1 couple at all

also in and out in 2 hours on night two. Noise was there, I’m sensitive as I used to work in the music industry and festivals but I didn’t think it was AWFUL. Maybe they made some adjustments for night two?

How did it compare to the noise level of the upstairs dining room at Funke (if you have been in that room)? That was so loud that it was almost impossible to hear the server recite her various spiels. And just overall unpleasant (in addition to lackluster food).

mainly from people talking, i could barely hear the music

was it full? friend was there tonight too and said there were a lot of empty tables.

Dang it, I might now have to make bookend meals to my night at Lielle…

EDIT: (and bring disposable chopsticks from the local Chinese takeout)

EDIT: (and earplugs)

It would be shocking if this restaurant survived a year

Was full when we left.

idk guys - I would say I can kill big meals easily. I was full. That was a lot of carb action. YMMV

i’m guessing your shared courses for 2 were the same portion size as our 4 top?
