There are a few German restaurants in the Bay Area and we slowly exploring them. Tonight we visited Ludwig’s https://ludwigsmv.com in Mountain View. Some tables inside but not unlike a typical German beergarden, a significant number of tables are outside with the typical wooden tables and benches.
Food turned out to be quite good with Flammkuchen and especially with excellent Jaegerschnitzel. Some beer and Mini-Berliners completed a very nice dinner
Flammkuchen - Alsatian flatbread, homemade flatbread, sour cream, gruyere cheese, caramelized onions, bacon
Jaegerschnitzel - breaded veal cutlet, homemade spaetzle, lingonberry jam, mushroom sauce
Mini-Krapfen - Mini-Berliner, 3 berliners, vanilla sauce, whipped cream
