They’ve had roast duck with crispy rice since 2019. On my list to try.
This a collaboration with Smoke Queen BBQ, one day only, oolong-smoked.
The crispy rice dish varies. Current online menu has a choice of mushroom or ahrimp.
We found the shrimp with sweet corn crispy rice the best recently. The shrimp itself was bland and didn’t integrate well, but the dish was overall excellent (especially after some squeezes of lime).
We had the mushroom crispy rice twice and didn’t Iike it that much. Too salty and a little too pungent.

This sounded really appealing when I saw your post but now that I read the description I’m out. Here’s what you get:
Diners will enjoy a four course meal featuring Noodle Bar fan favorites and collaborative one-night-only dishes. Seems like there are more of these culinary event tours every month, but I don’t think I’ve ever been to one, and probably won’t.

Went to Majordomo for dinner this weekend. Highlights were the tomato and stone fruit salad, crispy rice w shrimp, the cocktails and the service. Everything else was fairly middling, with the exception of the grilled gai lan market salad that was damn near inedible. First time back post pandemic and it didn’t shine for us like it did previously. Bummer.
Quick stop at Apotheke after to see how it is nowadays. Drinks were cloyingly sweet. Just laughably bad. It’s too bad the drinks (and crowd) aren’t better, as it’s a good space. Did spot a few sandals.

We agree Majordomo is inconsistent, but the hits keep us coming back. I also like the wine list.
