OK. “The times they are a-changin”…Manor Coffee Shop will be changing hands before Thanksgiving. We’re waiting to see what that means to the regulars and the loyal locals who have warmed the seats at the counter and filled the booths/tables…at 321 West Portal. This is where the waitresses know your order when you walk through the door…

So, what’s on your ‘Must Eat’ list at the Manor Coffee Shop?

the Special Order - One Day Advance - Orange Cream Pie
Manor Sausage Muffin
corned beef hash/corned beef hash omelet
soft scrambled eggs - exactly the way I like it -
rib eye steak and eggs
the burger with pesto
spaghetti and meat sauce (recommended by T&B’s 13-yr. old son)
apple pie

Open to the end of the year? I’m crossing my fingers for one last breakfast meal.
I like the Manor Special: one waffle, one egg, one bacon or sausage $8.75 - it’s truly the BEST waffle.
The Corned Beef Hash with 2 eggs is delicious and it’s $9.75
the apple pie is not my style (the Special Order Orange Cream Pie is still my fave)
