Partner saw a TikTok video about Aurora (Mid-City) and picked up a few items:
Croissant was pretty bready but had a decent enough buttery flavor.
The patisserie is very cute. The lemon one was quite enjoyable. Liked the texture of the chocolate cake (somewhere between mousse and cake), but the flavors were a bit muted and jumbled (IMHO). Partner very much liked all the items.
I think he said that the small patisserie were ~$10, while the cakes (which he said were beautiful) was ~$65? I am not a huge dessert person, but I think it’d be a fun place to visit. The place could certainly coast on looks alone, but I think the taste (at least for the items we got) was pretty good (but I’d skip the croissant).
