There have been a bunch of San Diego restaurants in the California Michelin guide since the first edition was published in 2019.

As far as which city is in the other’s Michelin shadow, Addison got three stars three years before any restaurant in LA did.
I was not aware that they got it before any LA restaurant. There is one accomplishment that has eluded San Diego, in that we do not have any James Beard winners.
