I didn’t see the tarte aux pommes on the menu, but their Brioche Feuilletée is a thing of beauty.

i need to try more of the pate en croutes.
had the mousse de foie de volailles with a baguette and that was great. the bake at home duck pithivier is excellent. wish we had something like this in la.

i got that back in december, looks like they rotated a rhubarb tart onto the menu now.

Maybe just a bad day, but the pie I had from Lamonicas a few mos ago was so sufficiently blah that I won’t be going there again, personally.
