Needle - Silver Lake

Ultimately, the LA scene is ever changing. It’s a tough scene.

I grew up next to Chinatown in the late 90/2000s. I lived by dodger stadium until 2010 then moved closer to Ktown. What I know is just street knowledge and what I’ve seen is from someone who is from LA. I’m probably wrong idk. There’s too much to write to state what I originally meant. It’s also food. It’s also not that serious lol.

Overall, its a blow to the food community that Needle is gone. I hope the scene fosters smaller business shops, but honestly I am pessimistic that I doubt it lol

Last comment from me on this since I do not wish to go further off topic, but, given that food is how lots of people in this city make their income, I would wager that it’s pretty serious for many, actually.

Ceci’s is destination worthy and seems to be doing well.

Dayglow for coffee.

Once again. Us going back and forth discussing this on the internet isn’t that serious. Or rather should not be taken this serious.

Is the food business serious? Yes, food is a business that employs may.

Maybe it’s just me, but I just don’t like how you keep interpreting my posts. Idk why you keep interpreting my words with some malicious intent when honestly it’s not.

For my sanity, I’m going to mute replies to this post.

And before anyone asks or thinks “well why are you responding then?” Because I want to be civil and acknowledge that food is serious, yes, I agree, but also to prevent people from reading too much into my words. This is the internet. What happened to Needle is horrible. Is the food scene a tough business scene? Yes. Is food a serious sector in the US economy that employs many? Yes. Many whose livelihood rely on this industry to succeed? Yes.

But this space is also TFC. People will disagree. People will love and people will hate on a place. Please paraniodgarliclover, don’t take what I say to heart. It’s just an opinion.
