Hello. I’m hosting an academic/teaching event at a home in Oceanside in early May. The group will need at least lunch on Saturday (05/03) for 20 people. There are participants who are pescatarian and no red meat, lactose intolerant, and have a bell-pepper allergy.
Delivery would be ideal, given how large the group is.
Something mid-priced (however you want to define that) would be ideal. And it would be especially convenient if the restaurant/cafe also uses e-mail b/c this is a non-profit event, and I’d like to be able to CC multiple people (so that I don’t need to repeat myself or play telephone).
I had originally been thinking Heritage (b/f I learned of the no red meat)… Did y’all know it has totally diff ownernship than the San Juan Capistrano location???
If you have any breakfast ideas (for a very casual delivered breakfast) please feel free to share.
Thanks.
I don’t know about their catering, but Lunch Menu — Wildland is high quality and has a broad enough range of dishes to satisfy your various dietary restrictions.

Chains: Urban plates, Mendocino Farms, the kebab shop, panini kebab grill
Non-chains: Bushfire, Empanada kitchen, prager bros
I don’t know if they all fit your needs. Just a suggestions. I like Prager the best of the above.
Good luck

I ended up not being able to attend the event and our group’s Exec Director did most of the coordinating, but I wanted to give a brief update. No pics b/c of the nature of the event.
We ended up choosing Wildfire (esp after Exec Director mentioned that their sister restaurant is apparently well-regarded). The restaurant was VERY easy to work and VERY accommodating (when we asked if they could perhaps come up w/ a veg sandwich of us and we asked if they could help us coordinate delivery).
The guests said that the food was very tasty.
I wouldn’t hesitate to work w/ them again.
