kitchen hikaru - it’s very very well executed okinawan izakaya food. Seem like they hire high end chefs who wants to do casual food (apparently this restaurant group has higher end version on Okinawa highest rating izakaya in tabelog. Highlight was sashimi platter and all the fried food. Very precisely made.
PST Okinawa, apparently manager and other staffs worked in Tokyo for couple years, before they come to Okinawa (Tamaki san’s hometown is Okinawa) had a great time with large selection of menu and atmosphere but service was the stand out.,
Marumo, yuki San did little nice selection of pizzas for us to try (mini omakase, thank you yuki san) I liked his creativity and try to do something different than others

38th pizza bar at mandarin oriental. super high quality dough, proper fermentation with high quality ingredients. It’s my personal preference but I always like more Neapolitan than pala, teglia, or New York slice but I feel like everyone could enjoy this pizza. Think as pizzeria mozza + leopardo vibe but more lighter ans very Cheffy toppings.

Incredible yakitori omakase at aramaki higashizabu. (Right next door PST Tokyo) I’m not sure how much yakitori can be better than this (surprised they have no star) chicken in citrus with nut sauce with chicken liver are top highlight (so many courses but these were absolute favorite especially chicken in citrus with nut sauce was something I never encounter before type of delicious. it’s very gently but deeply delicious if make sense) high recommend and chef is very accommodating and nice. Price is great too.

Hiramasa Asakusa had high quality soba, little embarrassed that I’m used to store bought soba, it tsuty was too delicate for my liking but I really appreciate the quality of soba noodles and less is more philosophy here. tempura and eggs were really delicious.

Glitch coffee shop is pretty insane. I didn’t know coffee can be flavorful and subtle like teas. In a good way
