I had taken a friend to Kogane (in Fumio-san’s last weeks) and she loved it so much that she took her hubbs to Osusume Fumio as soon as he opened. It must have been a really off night because she said the rice was terrible and a couple of the neta not great. Her hubbs was apparently very much unimpressed (disgust was the actual term used). I’m so glad and even more relieved to hear that it really must have been a singularly off service and that he’s back to consistently churning out some of the best in the area.
