Sometimes you don’t have to go far to find great things. Pizzeria Cardmomo https://pizzeriacardamomo.com in Redwood City is now open for more than a year and was on our restaurant list for quite some time but somehow we never visited it so far. Started by Chef Momo Farouq when he moved to the US after he met his American wife at Lake Como where he was running Pizzeria Cardamomo. Pretty much everything is made from scratch at the restaurant like pizza and pasta. The pizza is a unique creation with a sourdough dough and a relatively crispy crust which ends up like a combination of a Roman thin crust and California gourmet pizza. We really enjoyed our first visit here and can’t wait to be back
