I’m ordering two for a party they currently don’t have mango passion fruit

You really can’t go wrong, but personally I’d go with Strawberry Passion Fruit and Banana Cream right now.

Those were the ones I was thinking but Ive really only had their strawberry, mango passionfruit, calmansi passionfruit, and their buko coconut pies in the past. Just wanted to get the FTC 2

W: Unfortunately, the food isn’t that great. I’ve come to realize I prefer Petit Trois, which is less ambitious but better executed. The wine list is great*,however, and the cheese selection is nice. We both think this restaurant has declined from peak.
P: I like the amuse bouche and the soup.
(*) I do not particularly like this pruny cult wine, which tastes hot climate.

Interesting- I had this wine 2-3 times and enjoyed it even though it’s not quite my style.
I felt it was more sour cherry than prune.
First time I tried it was 2009 or so vintage at Pierre Sang signature suggested by Pierre himself and was smitten but subsequent 2015 was not as delicious but that’s maybe because my taste has changed

I am very aware that I have outlier wine tastes — old world and cool climate, masculine tannins, substantial acidity.

Went to Republique for the first time since about May 2025. In my opinion, Republique excels in what they try to achieve. All the dishes we had were outstanding, even if not the most creative or complex. Prep, flavors, salt levels, service, all on point! Wine list is outstanding. How many places will have many selections from cedric bouchard roses de jeanne?
