I prefer the passion fruit only because there’s more mango. but this was still delicious.

This pie is so damn good. The only challenge is saving enough of the pie filling to go with the edge of the crust, which is quite hefty.

FWIW, the mango / passionfruit tart (I think?) with lime/coconut cream was a hit too.

Eat it from the outside in, and add a bit of the center to each bite of crust.

haha, i can’t do that because I have to save my crust for last. what i think have to do is take some of hte filling and spread it on the crust first.

Looks like they changed up their flavors slightly. I’ve had both their ube and mango passion fruit in the past

They’ve had strawberry passionfruit for quite a while. Mango calamansi popped up a few months ago IIRC. They’re both good but won’t be topping the all time FTC favorite mango passionfruit…

Agree with those above that the strawberry is the weakest of all the options.

We tried to dine at the Leopardo bar, but it was full despite Shadow of the Erdtree. Republique had tables though. It was the same as ever.

Went to Republique for the first time in my life yesterday! This is one of the few restaurants in the city that I decidedly don’t have enough money for, ha. What I mean is that I’d rather go to Kato and just drop a grand on that type of experience, but I cannot drop $150 pp on a few bites of duck, a few bites of pasta, and a delicious cauliflower dish that felt very early 2010s coded, a baguette, a salad, and a glass of wine. (Great wine program by the way!)

Everything was great. Temperature of duck was cold but there was so many people, lot of courses and was really cold day. Highlight was shiso bayscallop, pasta, doversole


Leopardo bang bang before the meal. Real probangbanger always eat bang bang meal before the tasting menu.

It was busy on Saturday night. Warms my heart whenever I see restaurants get busy. Go eat out more! Happy holidays
