Restaurant Ki

just missed @lighthill. i’ve only been to atomix once a few years ago but i think ki is just as good and a very strong contender for two stars.

the menu is constantly improving and changing, there were already three new courses from my previous visit, not one miss. not only can ki do savory but his new omija dessert was excellent.

sweet shrimp, bugak, buddha’s hand

barley, gang doenjang, treviso

octopus, estragon, octopus head

nduja, bone broth, brown butter

jumbo clam, onion, citrus

blue crab, sugar snap peas, quinoa

keizo’s noodles, caviar, dungeness crab

lobster, doenjang, raspberry

sable fish, chayote, red pepper

dry aged duck, corn, chayote

porcini, indigenous cacao, tea leaf

omija, pine nut, strawberry

a bang bang at sora and torigoya was perfect.
