There will be many other states mot willing to stop the SAH approach (especially with the hospitals starting yo fill up in the next few days). In addition, a many (big) companies will resist as every expert says that stopping the current approach will kill millions. The orange goblin doesn’t care about anybody (or any company) beside himself (and his re-election chances)

Yes! Ta-eem is the best and hopefully with the amount of people who practice kosher in the surrounding areas it will stay afloat. We’ve been trying to go as often as possible as its one of our go to local spots.

On a conference call on Monday apparently Garcetti was saying at the current rate even with SAH the hospitals in LA county will be overwhelmed in about 7-9 days.
Word coming from my sources is L.A. peak expected May 1st. Unfortunately, peak does not mean end, it means peak.

One of the comforting realizations I had this past week was that famous people can’t get their hair cut any more than the rest of us. I hope people start posting shelter at home hair soon. Soon instagram will be nothing but good food and bad hair

Onda crispy vegetarian rice and lemon pound cake. Both great. Called them, came to store, where they took my credit card info via me telling it to them from 8 feet away or so, everybody clearly wearing gloves, and they had a purell bottle for use. Felt pretty safe.

Partner does not recall seeing any. Just checked their IG page, and no signs of sandwiches, either. Curiously, they do sell lasagna and meat ragu (!).
Just want to make sure everyone here is following proper disinfecting protocol with their takeout containers - ie removing food from them ASAP and then doing a proper wash of anything involved. Sorry to be a killjoy, but it’s a simple extra step you need to be taking until we have some well-sourced data about transmission percentages from surfaces. More nicely-sourced info already posted upthread here:
