Thanks to the recommendation here(?), grabbed an early reservation for a light lunch.
Insalata Fresca di Finocchio e Pesche
fennel, arugula, peach & almonds
Reginelle al Ragu Bianco di Cortile
guniea hen, rabbit, parmigiano, parsley & fennel pollen
Gramigna Giallo e Verde
with slow braised sausage ragu “in bianco”
Mais Grigliati
baby corn, parmigiano & chives
Tiramisu
Salad was decent, Reginelle was good (and the meat + sauce very good), Gramigna was exceptional, and the baby corn was very good. Tiramisu would’ve been great except the lady fingers weren’t soaked through. (It’s possible that’s a deliberate stylistic choice, which I disagree with.)
Overall pretty good, though carried substantially by the Gramigna being a top-5 pasta for me. Would consider going back for the pasta tasting, or something, though trying a different Italian spot that’s a little further afield from what I can get on the west coast is probably a higher priority.
