On a whim I was able to get in early last night to Rosaline, Ricardo Zarate’s new Peruvian on Melrose. We sat on the patio, which is nice and casual. However, this place is really loud even the patio. Started with the beef heart which was fantastic as was the sea urchin with scallops. The chaufa paella was a favorite with large shrimp, sausage and fried egg. The only dish that was not special was the black mussels, which was a small, uninteresting dish with mussel that were too much work to open. Nice bar too and fun vibe. Will return for sure.
