Sadelle's at KITH

I am heading to brunch at the Toronto location of Sadelle’s this week.

Sadelle’s Toronto menu.

What do you like at Sadelle’s?

I searched FTC and realized quite a few people doing brunch in Vegas head to Sadelle’s.

The Toronto menu is more limited than the Vegas menu.

I also found this recipe link in a post from 2016.

I went to Sadelle’s in Manhattan because a friend recommended the bagels and was not particularly impressed with them, even less so by the sable.

I’ll probably get a tuna melt, or the bacon, coleslaw and tomato sandwich, at Sadelle’s.

My friend requested Sunday brunch near one subway line, which is a location convenient for her.

I sent her 3 options that take reservations, including Sadelle’s. She chose Sadelle’s, so here we are. :slightly_smiling_face:

I just had some excellent smoked salmon this past weekend at Lox and Shmear in Toronto.

I can tell you from extensive research of the Vegas location that steak & eggs is considered top tier.

I ordered the Leo, a smoked salmon, egg, cream cheese and onion bagelwich. $26 CAD here in Toronto. I wasn’t in the mood for bacon, tuna or turkey this morning.

I decided to try the breakfast potatoes. They are a very soft smashed fingerling with the skin on, topped with fried onions and red pepper. They are better than most breakfast potatoes in Toronto. But…keep in mind, Toronto doesn’t do breakfast potatoes too well. Most are an afterthought.

The service was good. I would return. Fairly limited menu options in Toronto.

Several people were ordering the creamy tomato soup, which had so much cream that it was closer to pale pink than red. I may try that another time.
