that seems like an odd location for them! Kinda down the street from McCabe’s ?
Trader Joe’s is going to move to the old Rite Aid next to Fromin’s (once the move is done, closing the store currently across the street from the Whole Foods on Wilshire). A net win for most people probably but a disaster for me personally as that makes it not walkable from my place 
Tough to think of who might replace TJs. Maybe a CVS or something though the developer is probably hoping for something more upscale. Maybe I can hope against hope for a Marukai outpost or something

I think the site is the old Rite Aid on Wilshire & 14th. And they may keep the old TJ open.
Yeah it is. I heard they’re only keeping it open until the new site is open, but I guess it’s possible things change
Saw a sign for Louma Bakery coming soon to the apartment complex on Wilshire and near Centinela.
A quick internet search indicates that they are looking for a chef and bakers, so I assume that means it will not be opening soon…

I have long wondered if win-dow with its super low price point could work financially in high rent areas like on San Vicente or Montana, and it appears they think the answer is yes. Such a huge win for the area.

Isn’t Rose Ave high rent? Is their pricing consistent in all areas? I’ve only been to the Rose location.
I doubt rent on Rose is inexpensive but I expect it’s less than Montana or San Vicente. Plus the Rose location is a bit unusual as the win~dow there occupies part of a larger parcel that is shared with American Beauty.

Somewhat cursed location but I bet it’ll do well
Signage up at Izzy’s Deli that it will be a Persian restaurant called Chattanooga. I believe the Persian Market next door is taking over the space.

Named after a famous coffee house in Iran, Chatanooga Restaurant has been offering authentic Persian cuisine to Great Neck and surrounding areas since 2001.

From what I understand, Chattanooga was a very popular restaurant in Tehran before the revolution.
