new hot comer in Rome dining scene. Chef is very young, and place looks most legit in terms of decor and concept. Service was the best from my past trattoria trip.

For food, I think this is more balanced food than most food in neo trattoria and lot of food in Italy. It’s not heavy and not too much everything. Very cheffy palate and presentation.

In fact I had a vibe of California Italian cuisine flavor than other Roman trattoria. It’s just personal preference but I like little more bold rustic flavors (not saying food here is bad, it’s really good actually, and probably deserve a Michelin star like trattoria trippa) just not what i was looking for while I do trip in Italy.
