My parents are having their 50th anny. My mom requested Holbox or Chinese food (theyre Chinese)
I don’t think Holbox is happening because of their insane waits. Tried to look for tasting menu seats but those sell out in 10 seconds.
So anyhow it’s prolly gonna be Chinese any suggestions for Chinese/seafood? Bistro nas, arrray 36? Etc? Or maybe any seafood places in general that might be worth checking out.

Not Chinese, but in the seafood direction, Sáu Can Tho in Rosemead might be interesting to look into. Part of the menu is standard to be expected Vietnamese stuff, but they have a ton of interesting protein dishes too. Menu is broken down by each protein; alligator, ostrich, eel, frog, shell/fish to name a few. When I went I got a set menu thing, which was good but not too adventurous so ymmv, worth checking out the menu
Starting to sound like a broken record player here, but try Array 36 for their private banquet rooms, live tank seafood, seasonal offerings and solid cooking… Happy Golden Anniversary to your parents!
