I see complaints about the bánh mì (also no cha lua, boo) and the noodles in the chicken garlic noodles.
They have bun cha ca thanh long.

Glad there’s some good pho on the west side. Never really enjoyed mama hongs
No one here likes Phorage on Overland?
I went years ago when it first opened but don’t recall being overly impressed. Is it worth a stop when in the area or would you recommend other places?
Ooh, I’m going to have to look up what some of those dishes are.
What were the complaints about the bánh mì? I do think that’s actually an easy thing to screw up b/c if the bread isn’t right, it just ruins the whole thing.
Name is familiar, but I have not been. Will need to try it.
Almost my favorite fish dish. How is it?
I went to phorage a lot for take out the last few years - their quality dipped a little last year but still solid. Broken rice dishes I think are stronger than their pho - the Jidori Chicken is great.
On the westside, Phorage will do in a pinch (nice oxtail soup), but I personally prefer Thai Lai (old school cash only place) and Nong La in that order for pho. The Thai Lai broth seems the most flavorful to me, with Nong La not a huge distance behind (though salt forward). I like Nong la’s noodles, which seem to be prepped in a bit of oil.
