Something interesting near the Moxy/AC Hotel?

I need to check out the La Lo La Rooftop in DTLA (near the Convention Center) for a possible work-related event and will probably go this weekend in the afternoon. The La Lo La, from what I gather from the on-line menu, doesn’t serve entrees.

Is there something fun and interesting (and not hugely expensive) in the area (preferably w/i walking distance) to eat after my visit to L^3 (sorry, it’s kind of a pain to write out the full name of the venue).

Thanks.

Ray Garcia’s place (and others) at Level 8 is in the Moxy/AC building
Pine and Crane
Little Sister
Bar Bar isnt too far a walk

Baar Baar is solid. I second that.

We haven’t been to the Level 8 places. Has anyone?

Thirded Baar Baar. Has a fantastic NYE meal there.

Okay, the DTLA meal will need to wait after having my stomach turned by the food at La Lo La today. :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyone know of a venue within easy walking distance of the Convention Center that accommodate a cocktail reception for 200 and preferably has really nice views but also has good food?
