If retail is $500pp, I imagine that a buyout would be 3-5x of that.
I think I’d buy as many seats as I could whenever they open because I’m sure I could fill them with foodie friends…
Anyone know if the seating is going to be the same as the original Somni?
If I were in their situation I’d be auctioning the tickets.

I already emailed and Instagram DMed to inquire about the 6 person private dining room. When/if I hear back I’ll let y’all know the cost. If it’s not outrageous I may be interested.
But I imagine it will be outrageous. $10-15k minimum spend or something I bet.

The private dining room has a minimum spend of $1,000 per person and a total minimum spend of $5,000. It seats up to 6 people. The price includes the tasting menu and a beverage pairing (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) for each person, but excludes tax and gratuity. If you were to spend the exact $1,000 minimum per person, after 9.5% tax and 20% gratuity, the all in minimum per person comes out to $1,295.
I will probably try to grab a regular reservation when they go live. Though, if the rumors are true that the tasting menu is close to $500, and you assume a beverage pairing is around $250-350, the private dining room is actually not that crazy of a premium. Somni has been on my bucket list for a while, so one way or another I will be dining there shortly after it opens. The whole restaurant sure is pricey, though!

I had a Dec 29th in my cart but didn’t move fwd, I expected they wouldn’t be able to accomodate any restrictions and there’s a chance we’ll have one in my party for the next few months and didn’t want to risk it. Guess I’ll wait til next year’s birthday hahaha
