not good per unverified max
Ouch. That’s a lot of brown food.
fwiw, the nyc location was a bit of a let down and has already shut down.
Wow that’s depressing. I had high hopes. I thought the kinda odd menu (particularly the pasta section which Max mentioned) could work - perhaps they just wanted to appeal to a slightly broader mall audience. Having lived in Spain, all I have wanted for years is great approachable Spanish food in LA*. I don’t know why it’s so hard…
*Somni is great, obviously, but not the kind of place you wander into on a random night
Have you been to Barra Santos? Portuguese, but might scratch the itch?
I miss Moruno (both iterations) a lot. The original at the Grove was such a great place to sit at the bar and have some light bites and a bottle of wine.
This review coupled with the huge seating capacity and corporate feel made me cancel my reservation for tonight. The paella actually looks good to me, so hopefully some other posters try it out and report good things.
opening for lunch and dinner 7 days a week right off the bat is never a good sign.
Anyone want to talk me out of Lumiere? Michelin Guide restaurant. No FTC reviews.
Menu looks good.
