Nah I just grab the 15 pack of Haagen Dasz vanilla almond bars, which are also worth the markup compared to their Costco equivalent.
Also Mexican fruit bars, Bubbies mochi, and they even had Melona bars for a while. I love the Costco ice cream section.

All the ice cream sales at Costco tho! I would do the HG bars over the Costco gallon, too! Their mochi ones are the best when they’re on sale 
Their ice cream isle + nuts & fruits are all I need from Costco. All you need is extra freezer space and possibly more humans 
@Luluthemagnificent if you get the big gallon, it’s truly has the best consistency as a base ice cream for affogato. Hit that with a hot double shot for a neutral but extremely creamy affogato. The ice cream is quiet enough that you can taste all the coffee notes without any distractions.

I can eat gallons of Thrifty’s mint and chip, but I ate one single bar out of the Costco package and threw the rest away. The worst Haagen Dasz flavor I have ever had. YMMV

Bubbies mochi are good for supermarket mochi. Better than the Mikawaya brand. Never had the My Mochi.
Tell us if those bonbons are any good. I love any type of ice cream you can eat in 1 bite.

I picked up Humphrey Slocombe a few weeks ago. I got the malted chocolate ice cream because how can you go wrong with malt? Well you can. So grainy and powdery/chalky. This brand has a terrible batting average for me.
I also tried, on a whim, some schlocky $9 ice cream brand called “Goon with a Spoon” at my local Piazza’s fine foods. I looked it up and it’s owned by some hip hop artist I’ve never heard of. I got Bourbon Vanilla (not the vanilla bean, but actual bourbon flavor). This one was beautiful. Not an alcoholic ice cream or an adult ice cream. Tastes like artificial bourbon flavor or maybe extract added to a pretty good milk powder french custard style vanilla. A slight gum-like flavor as well which surprisingly works with the french custard. Not an ice cream of purity or ingredient driven. Kind of fun. Really good.
