Voted top 10 in those Top50 slice rankings and I gotta say… Tivoli showed up. Located in the Fremont section of Seattle.
Sausage pie - Tomato sauce, mozz, provolone, scamorza, sausage, onion, basil, Calabrian chile
Mushroom pie - Four cheese white pie, oyster mushroom, leeks, chive
Was surprised but the mushroom pie was next level and definitely my favorite. The flavors really came through, and the dough is the MVP with a really nice balance of doughy and crunchy.
They had a nice wine selection for being such a casual spot and this bottle of vino helped out.
This place can definitely scare folks away since the pies are a bit on the pricy side, $38 each, but some bright sides to that: they also sell by slice and you can do half and half and have 2 different toppings on a pie and lastly, we found out we can save $30 by paying through an app so that was basically a free pie. Tip for next time: I saw folks eating their mortadella sandwich which looked so freaking good.
