Fair – The Beatles are head and shoulders #1 for me. Their range was ridiculous.

Would’ve been great to see them at that point for OK Computer songs and the momentum for their experimentation. I saw them in `06 when all the bootlegs of the In Rainbows songs circulating on P2P networks. Irrespective of anyone’s attitudes toward online distribution of pop music, those were better days of music sharing, and for another forum…

Maybe you’ll all cancel me for saying that I haven’t been excited by Radiohead since two songs from The King of Limbs.

And I’ll wait for a FTC karaoke meet-up to share with you what I do for drunk singing

My Radiohead trajectory:

  • Played Pablo Honey on repeat for hours while I played Quake (Doom variant).
  • Adored The Bends. Captivated by music videos for Just and Street Spirit.
  • Amazed by OK Computer and Kid A.
  • Never liked them as much after that. Not even fond of In Rainbows.

Still – The Bends + OK Computer + Kid A is such a strong output that few artists can compete.
