It’s bit outside of central Rome but I really recommend the food here. It was best food experience from this trip.
This place is probably same level or bit higher than other “hyper trattoria” (Mimi alla ferrovia, trattoria trippa) I’ve been. Very vivid flavors
Only con was my main course was bit different than I expected, because antipasti is just unbelievably good maybe focus on antipasti and pasta is better choice.
I learned from this trip lot of trattoria does cacciatore or braised meats but I personally like more lighter main course like grilled fish etc
Dessert was as good as trattoria trippa panna cotta. In fact panna cotta itself seems same recipe but different approach.
I think it was bad day for them so service was not desireable but food was so good, I just didn’t care.
Probably only three places that was good from this trip (this trip to Italy overall food had lot of problem)
Highlight was bell pepper cooked in tomato sauce, beef tongue with salsa verde, eggplant, amatriciana and panna cotta lol
