I feel like it is harder and harder to find a good Mexican restaurant. I really like Tres Hermanas at 12620 San Pablo Ave. It is as modest as it can be. I went once and then had to hunt for it again. In the meantime they hasd painted it bright blue. It is across the street from Camp Quest.
Whatever we have ordered has been very very good, and the portions are large. I had Chile Verde. My wife had a Quesadilla de Huitlacoche (corn smut.) There were no offers from her to trade a little bit so I know she really liked it. We shared a guacamole which was surprisingly large. They are open 7 days a week for breakfast at 8am and close a 7pm everyday except Sundays when they close at 4pm.
