My father always said no to the suan cai (on whichever dish), so I literally reflexively pick it off b/f I start eating. 
Not sure how often you’re in the area, but Metro extension construction has turned the area just off the freeway on Wilshire into a freq terrifying gridlock hell (I am very supportive of the extension, though…). Strongly recommend taking another exit, as an FYI.

Thanks! I am in the area super often. But yeah, sometimes I take Westwood straight in. Things with the federal building always made that exit perilous.
