i got a 1.2 kg jar of goat-milk cajeta in Mexico. Any ideas about how to use / eat it besides with ice cream or on toast?

Similar to Nutella or other spreads, or where maple syrup or honey might work, or in place of caramel or dulce de leche.
Crepes and pancakes, in baking as a layer or an ingredient, for desserts like flan, drinks – hot chocolate, coffee, milkshake, probably would be good in a cocktail too if you thin it a bit.

Using it for the caramel in flan’s an interesting idea. Especially since this is quemada.
Yep. We eat it with toast. I would recommend using it bake with, like a bundt cake or slatered inbetween shortbread.

Would be great paired with anything chocolate too – eg swirl into brownie batter.
