What's bakin?

Seems I am now a baker as well. I mean sure, I’ve done loads of pizza but i leave the sweets to my lady… Well yesterday I surprised her with my tremendous skills…

No making fun of the burned crust. It’s almost by design. Brown sugar and walnut crust darkens super fast and it was a nice counter.

toasted walnuts, pasted in a mortar + brown sugar + butter + flour

fresh ricotta, some creme cheese, apricot jam accents

after baked and chilled it got topped with the amazing Linn’s lemon curd, some meyer rind
