Which Topic/Thread?

Hi all, I am new to posting here and would like to get your take on the following. I hunted through some rules and posts and couldn’t find an answer:

If there are two or more existing topics/threads about a particular restaurant - where should I reply, if the topics aren’t very specific or distinct? They’re just from different years or OPs.

  • Choose the oldest topic?
  • Choose topic with the most recent replies?
  • Choose topic with the most replies?

Thank you, & sorry if this has been addressed somewhere I missed. I am a little OCD and didn’t want to clutter anything up.
(an example of this is Luv2Eat Thai Bistro in Los Angeles)

Whatever seems to make most sense. If the topic with most of the replies hasn’t been posted to in a year or so then a topic with newer replies is probably more up-to-date. On the other hand, a short new topic might have no good reason to exist and it might be better to revive the old one. There’s no rule.

Thank you Robert, understood. Will continue to evaluate on a case-by-case basis.

You can also cross-link. So you can post in one thread and if you feel it’s appropriate you can link it to another thread as well
