A more careful read of that IG post says that this is New Mandarin Noodle Deli (Temple City).

Apparent change of ownership at A-Me Kitchen in Alhambra. New shorter menu with quite a few holdover items. Decent but generally not as good as predecessor regime.
The daikon was the best part of that dish!
Rest in Power DX Lab. I remember your sweet and strange noodles and friend pork wonton fondly.
Ditto about DX Lab. I hardly knew ye…
I am interested in that Buddha Jumps Over The Wall soup. Looks like a beautiful space to dine in.
Lily’s Kitchen in Alhambra is still called Lily’s Kitchen but has flipped from pho to NE China rice noodle soup(?)
Happy Together, the highly popular dim sum restaurant in Chino Hills, opens up branch in the Holiday Inn in El Monte. Did you ever think you’d see Cantonese roast meats on the first floor of an international branded hotel chain?
Array 36 is my favorite restaurant in SGV, a step above Jiang Nan Spring and Bistro Na’s. Good ingredients and execution, consistent across dishes. Borderline Michelin Star for me. No wine list so bring your own wine.

That’s different from what I’m used to for lu rou fan
Definitely bigger cuts than Taiwanese. Flavor doesn’t have quite that garlicky-slightly sweet that Taiwanese people like.
Yau Ma Tei Dim Sum Kitchen finally opens in the 0410 Music Bar B Que double murder site on Garvey in Monterey Park. Interesting that thread on another message board about the opening includes a link to a KTLA video I hadn’t heard about that contained contemporaneous footage of the crime in progress. Note 500 W. Garvey was also the site of the first authentic Chinese restaurant in the San Gabriel Valley, so there’s lots of history here.
This has kept me from Noodle Art. Several have reported heavier vinegar/oil use than even the norm for Shaanxi, which does use a lot.
My one visit there, this was precisely the case.
Ten Seconds, a Yunnan crossing the bridge specialist, opens in Monterey Park replacing Spicy Hot Kitchen.
All the hot pot talk over at the longo thread prompts the question, where do you go in sgv?
Family has done Wagyu House and honestly, it was awesome. Their set menus are actually quite a deal if you go with a party of 4 or more and they offer super customizable options for soup. Service is really nice as they are used to having a mix of clientele from the area. Believe me, I was skeptical, I am not the biggest hot pot fan, but I would go there with a group again.
