First time at Yang’s! Ate outside (by choice).

Everything was really delicious. Top - the tofu “burrata” and summer scallops. I thought the tofu burrata was a lot like gomadofu, which was weird because the menu listed soymilk (and gomadofu is kuzu, no soy actually). Looked it up later and it looks like they do use kuzu (but also the Meiji soymilk!) Really unique and does give “stracciatella” vibes from tofu. Delicious…

The dry-aged fish was a little more subtle than I thought it would be, but a fun switcheroo for hainan chicken. Black sesame cake was delicious. Was excited to try a lot of purveyors that I’ve read a lot about at FTC! Wong farms mangos and Weiser melon sorbet on the mango pomelo sago …
