Not really an American food tradition per se, since it’s not common.

I was amused by one recipe in the Molly O’Neill NY Cookbook, for white chocolate fondue, which was a recipe Toblerone promoted, when White Chocolate Toblerone was introduced.

I may be underthinking or missing something here, but is peanut butter with mayo an American food tradition? When I see one of those lists that ask “Which of these 50 foods will you not eat?” I usually have only one or two that I’d say no to. Now I guess I have one more.
